Here is my working out:
Verdasco is a better Grass court player he wins .72 of first serves to ramos' .59 he wins .53 of second serves to ramos' .44 he wins .26 of first returns to ramos' .23 he wins .49 of second returns to ramos' .40 an advantage of roughly .5-8 in any given area is pretty telling, but Verdasco is better in all of them The trouble is Verdascso and Ramos' mug ratings, and this is the main thing that stops Verdasco from being as low as 1.2-1.3 in my mind: If you put 50 units on Verdasco as underdog and 100 units on him as favourite for every match of the last year, you'd be -1080 units, indicating that he often just doesn't turn up, gives up, doesn't try, or fixes If you put 50 units on Ramos as underdog and 100 units on him as favourite for every match of the last year, you'd be -503 units, which isn't as grave, but still indicates he is overvalued by the bookies In their last games, they both did better than average - Verdasco being great on his second serve, and Ramos being better on his first serve. This indicates that they both should at least be playing at average, and Verdasco should have the jump on him. |

I didn't get to watch the game because I was on a tennis ban until I could finish my university assignment last night, but looking at the stats, it looks like Verdasco just lifted majorly. Dolgopolov was slightly under form in his second serve win percentage at .40 and struggled to convert the break point chances he was given (.33), but it was Verdasco's insane .74 second serve win that won the match for him.

nando is a huge mug, not really interested in tennis these and that's why his price is so high. he can't be trusted in the most occasions.
but presence of his father may be the factor that gonna make him serious. he should win 'coz ramos is pretty average player. but i can't trust nando. |

The problem with Raonic is that his first serve percentage will decide a match between equal or slightly lesser opposition. If he's off on that, it's going to be a short day for him.
