We really don't know these days - stats, form, etc etc mean nothing when they may have 'different' ideas. I do expect Federer to win this as his best play is a treat to watch, but will he be sufficiently motivated?

all the h2h record shows one very clear thing:
roger can handle simon's game without breaking sweat when he's in his aggressive zen calm, which is related directly to the number of errors he's made in the match it only gets ugly when he starts tilting because simon keeps making him play more balls and the mistakes slowly pile up. |

Yeah I have to say despite Fed being a little more erratic nowadays he is certainly a class above Simon here so far and it is getting humiliating for the Frenchman. I suspect as per normal relax a bit and gather himself ready to break Simon at the start of the 2nd set then he can cruise through maybe 6-3ish
