why such price on pavly??? i was expecting her to be @1.4-1.6 actually

i didn't watch the ending of final set with vesnina though

is pavly injured or what????

vesnina was working hard but pavly was amazing

watch kuzzy-oprandi a bit and kuzzy was absolutely dreadful

i haven't watched oprandi all week but it seems she has been serving very solidly and not giving much away on serve, but can't read too much into kuz win if kuz was playing like a mug (she didn't even get 1 bp). I watched Pavy v Vesnina tho and I thought pavy played well but she was still a bit complacent/muggy at times, going a break up twice in the 2nd and giving it straight back the next game, vesnina served at 6-5 final set too but couldn't hold. It was a great match with loads of big swings back and forth throughout. That is the third time they have met and all 3 have been 3rd set victories for pavy.

But baffling to me why pavy is the dog here. I didn't see any injury issues today (maybe she will be tired?) and when she is playing well she seems to be stronger mentally and that gets her through against lower ranked players. Oprandi is on her favourite surface here and will be a dangerous opponent but i'd be v surprised if she pushes pavy as much as vesnina did.

These are WTF odds, and that makes me worried.

when i was watching pavly moving today i was thinking about dr.fuentes

she was like a lightning. especially in 1st set

think market could flip pre-off, only €14k matched so far, can't see oprandi falling unless something up with pavy but there'd be more money matched by now if there was?

people seems to forget that nastia 3 times junior slam champion singles and 5 time junior champ in doubles is very talented player,only focusing on her inner core strength(big belly) she was in top 20 aged 19 (no13 best) when she plays well like recently she can beat any player,looks like coming back form the slump in last year. oprandi is quite skilled player erratic and haunted by injuries she could be much better ranked. it must be something wrong with her judging by the odds she should be 1.6 maximum here , but it may be worth a punt as if she will start this match  she may be ok , if not will be voided

Avg lay of 1.7 on Oprandi. Lets hope Pavvy plays as she has been. Vesnina played exceptionally yesterday and still wasn't good enough.
