At first I even thought the umpire kind of had a point. He gave the penalty to Mardy directly after the changeover and I thought maybe the 2nd serve thing only applied in between points on your own serve.

Apparently though it's also only a 2nd serve directly after the changeover, with no points having been played in that specific game.

Still a total mug decision to give someone a warning/penalty after a changeover.

Now the umpire has go ask the linesman for the right mark. Mardy must be so happy with challenger-level officiating right now.

I think he even just asked RRH if they don't just want to play by themselves without any officials.

Spot on! I also always thought that Ramirez-Hidalgo was holding the arm's career back. Kind of like a world class doubles player that has some scrub as his partner.
