Will post some picks later. If people want to know about streaming, WTA Charleston streams both the main courts all week (which today is 7 matches), WTA Monterrey streams 2 matches a day until Friday (QF's), then the rest of it is all streamed.

You are joking. But really if you've grown up playing on a surface you do have an advantage. Look at the advantage those who grew up playing on real clay for example have over those that didn't.

You've probs seen the best price on Petkovic already. I didn't get her at the highest price matched though.
This court really looks totally tailor made for Serena Williams.

Petkovic is playing a pretty muggy match. Stop hitting to Townsend ffs.
Also Babos is making a meal of it in the early stages. Sanchez is holding a lot more comfortably than she is.
petkovic will win this match but I don't think 1.1 does justify the difference between them at this moment.

Taylor Townsend is very talented, she is the first American to hold the No. 1 year-end world ranking for junior girls since Gretchen Rush in 1982. She just have to lose some weight.

Green clay is all over USA. It's this that probably hurts their player development big time these days though. Whereas a country like say France will have hard courts and red clay, thus a lot of differing pace courts for player development.
USA just has hard courts and green clay, which are just fast courts. Not exactly suited to building your game for the modern day slow courts.

She's been working on getting more fit lately. Last year around the time of the US Open the USTA decided they wouldn't pay her expenses to go to New York because she hadn't met fitness goals and it was all over the news.

it's funny that finger waving players do in front of their eyes as a way of getting themselves to focus. So many of them do it.
laying 1.06 doesn't seem sensible. Even if she won this set (which seems highly unlikely), the odds would only go up to about 1.35 probably. Not worth it imo.

It looks a new court. I remember a grainy picture though last year. I remember Babos beating Errani last year.
It's probably just a matter of resurfacing the court and it's in a slightly different shade of colour. Most courts resurface year after year.

That isn't Monterrey Centre Court. It might not even be Monterrey, I have no idea what it is, but can tell you for 100% fact that it is not Monterrey Centre Court.
