can anyone give me a reason (or few) not to back Tommy Haas today @2.7+? old h2h between those isn't counted
'coz i have some reasons to back him:
1. he beat djokovic and ferrer is just a djoko's b1tch actually (last 9 meetings: 9-1)
2. ferrer should have lost to melzer but melzer choked badly
3. ferrer didn't impress me here. melzer was hitting winners through him. he's swearing on court here and looks frustrated.

That sliced backhand lob from Haas is sublime. He nearly pulled one off in the first too.
the crowd loves tommy, but if keeps being an **** to the umpire they might turn against him.

These two are fierce. Most other players would wilt and bend over in the face of Ferrer and Haas.

can't see david coming back. haas continues to break TWICE in any set he breaks in the first game in.
if this was anyone except haas and top 4, i could see ferrer coming back, but no1 else has backbone to keep this break lead from ferrer

Haas needs double break because ferrer will fight and keep him under pressure till the end.

Gas fancies Haas to much to play his best against him. His mind will be set on the handshake at the end to much.
i think gasquet backhand at it's best is the best backhand in the world, better than anyone elses backhand at it's best (except federer)

365 scoreboard is mental lately. Keeps awarding points to the wrong player before correcting itself.
Gasquet's backhand looks more stylish but don't think it is more effective. Haas backhand slice is superior.
365 scorebaord has been mental for ages! You should see what it gets up to on challenger matches.

Ferrer cant entirely get into his demolition rhythm where he goes as far as to bagel opponents in last sets
as much as I'd like Tommy to win this match I just can't see him breaking again after failing to maintain the lead
if ferrer pulls this off. hats of to him. broken twice in the final set and then he does this
how similar are these guys. very similar. i think ferrer will be what haas has been in his last 3 matches when he is 35

this is sensational fight. the battle in ferrer came out and killed haas today. amazing persistence. never gave up at any moment
so lucky ferrer won it, put too much at stake on this one 
i think he's celebrating more about the fact that he's slayed the slayer

i ended up losing 26p altogether after trading around £300 i'd be up it i wasn't getting charged :(
