and no markets, no video?
By:
There are markets. There even on the coupon? No video no though. Puchkova 1.8 looks absolutely huge. Pliskova has had a 20 hour flight to get here since yesterday. She won't even have arrived yet. What sort of condition is she really going to be in... On top of that look at the time difference. I can't see any way she is able to perform tonight.
By:
She probably will literally arrive 4-5 hours before her match.

Have done a double for tonight:
Puchkova already has a victory over Pliskova at Brisbane in January. Together with Putsinseva to bt Petkovic who's playing for the first time since November & might struggle after a lay-off, Putsinseva playing ok, not lost to anyone lower in rankings this year. Double pays 4.5 on here which i think is more than fair |
By:
i heard putintseva is a future top10
By:
putinseva is good bet here it will be at least scrappy match and odds will swing
By:
TAKING TO THE ACCOUNT THAT petko is not in the good shape certainly ,they will play at around 15 local time where temperature will hit around 28 C in shade , full sunshine is expected, she may struggle physically if Vladimira will put on a fight which is more than sure
By:
vladimira :))))
By:
also voegle looks bit short to me, have seen vickery live and she is quite feisty character
By:
putintseva looks shrewd bet

also czink
cohen can't win |

Poutchkova had a final in Brazil like Pliskova which went 3 sets. From Brazil to Indian Wells it's just over 6,200 miles, from Kuala Lumpar to Indian Wells it's 8,700 miles and Pliskova's match ended about 12 hours after Poutchkova's. Pliskova's match ended about 10pm I think after the delay local time, no idea if she flew straight away but if she did, she'd arrive about 8am local time West coast america, probably slept on the plane but then has to play 14 hours later, she'd have to sleep again before and probably won't have time for the training courts, add that to the fact all four of their matches have been in 3 or two close ones it's fair too say Pliskova will be knackered and Poutchkova will be a bit fresher.

as there is no much other tennis i expect some desperate mugs putting some stupid bets here in qualies

don't know much about Burnett but Coco is really bad right now
By:
think is puchkova had 4 3setters ,really tough matches and she lost at the end of dreamed final. she might not be as much motivated as we can expect, emotionally and physically drained for sure
karolina had pretty straight forward matches ,she relays on serve and shorter points so i expect she has loads of energy still to spent. on the top of that she won her first title, she will be over the moon, and she has her sister with her so she will get to the ground quickly and will be fairly motivated to continue good run. wouldnt be so sure about the physical issues here |

Puchkova didn't exactly make easy work of old lady venus either when she was suffering

funny stat is karolina was broken 6 times in whole tournament , and puchkowa 23 times
karo faced 14 break points, puchkova 51 ![]() |
By:
Puchkova vs Pliskova is a bit of a joke in that you'd fancied opposing both of them. But in this case I honestly think Pliskova has to be completely done. Puchkova has at least been in a similar time zone and probably got a nights sleep before this. Pliskova I mean isn't even going to arrive probably for a few hours yet. The time zone is a complete killer for her. It seems mission impossible on the face of it.
I hear Petkovic is in good shape. If she is, she should beat Yulia. |

puchkova had a very long hard week in brazil
while pliskova had a walk in the park in this joke tourney. tricky match. |
By:
Ah, the joy of unstreamed qualies

By:
pliskova v puchkova - both did well last week and don't stand to drop points here. All things being equal, puch is rightly favourite based on H2H and her tourney last week was of a higher standard imo. The last time they met was in late December in Brisbane and neither had played for over a month. Total opposite this time. Karo served 13 aces last time but Puch was still able to win in 2 TBs. 4 breaks each in that match.
Can see it being straight sets either way here, first set loser might rather a week or two off rather than battling for 2 more sets? Unless puch isn't interested I can see her winning this. See how it starts. |

DellAcqua gotta be value against Sirotkina @ 2.37.
By:
Dellacqua has drifted hard in the last half hour or so
By:
Do you know the reason mate?
By:
Nope, but I fancied Sirotkina anyway and the drift on Dellacqua increases my confidence

By:
dell acqua was awful against pliskova in KL

By:
My picks and approx odds
Sirotkina 1.65 Sevastova 1.75 Czink 1.5 Puchkova 1.7 Lay Dushevina 1.45 Feel free to shout mug etc. when I finish up with 0/5 in about 8 hours' time ![]() |

By:
I've gone for
Dellacqua 2.37 Tsurenko 1.25 Vandeweghe 1.4 Muguruza 1.25 Voegele 2-0 1.5 |
By:
Vandeweghe is a joke. I would not trust her at those odds. Most those are available at far bigger odds too...

By:
I took Puchkova @ 5/6 earlier, haven't take anyone else yet.
