This is a tough one , Berdychs serve is very good but Tsonga can get them into play ... will wait until the Match is in play

I think the odds are just right at SP. The real value could be Tsonga at 3.5s if Berdych takes the first set - which is really quite likely. Jo ups his level when playing from behind and the home-crowd will definately be helping him when a set down to make the match a 3-setter thriller. Also, Birdy has never beaten anybody 2-0 in a final before.
So Jo is definately a back when a set down, especially if Berdy doesn't take the first set easily but with a tight TB. |

berdy was playing some solid smart tenis so far,and he is in form. tsonga is flashy player and can be good on the day but he didnt impressed me so far that much. thewy played quite tight matches in past but berdy seems to being on the top at the end of the day.crowd is big boost for jo here and certainly will lift him up,but berdy recent battles in davis cup probably toughened his skin very much . should be good match, i would think that berdy will win at the end

Berdych not a popular man in France and I think the crowd massively against him will help to be extra motivated. In my opinion Tomas will win it, like ;[p mentioned , he is toughened by the Davis Cup and mentally up for it.

it's a good start from berdych so far, but surely there's no way he keep this level up on his backhand.

tsonga is not that good those days, he can beat some mugs but against top players he is struggling,inconsistent. very similar player as tomic is but not there yet as berdy should have beat tsonga

unless there's something about the height of the bounce on this court he's comfortable with, but i don't think there is.
so yes, i fully expect the percentage to go south, particularly as there's practically no room for it go up. but that's all tempered slightly by the market's bias for tsonga at the moment. quite happy to run a position on berdych to dump it later on. |
