wouldn't you rather they did this instead of putting them in play late?
or not at all and then voiding them? |
|

we all know they usually put it in play immediately after the previous match is finished, unless there distinct start times in the oop, so it's easy to adapt to this.

It has always been like this, so what is with the whining?

I have complained about this before. If you want to get the complaint noted, use the post on the site feedback forum. There is no reason, for matches with live video, they cannot put them in play at the correct time. All the liquidity goes from the extra markets, and on minor tournaments from the match markets, Betfair get less money because less people can bet on it, and many times, they have yet to settle the previous match market before they put the new one in play.

I really don't get what is the problem here. It is easy to check if the match is started or not.

wtf? full bank job on everything. surely if you want to take a prematch position you have all the time in the world to do so, rather than waiting for the 20 minutes before one match finishes and the next one begins. and besides, put a facking price up if you want to get matched rather than being a price taker. no doubt if it was up before, you've an excellent chance of getting matched at the same price before the match starts proper. I can understand the beef if you're a market maker and you're annoyed with your bets being cancelled before it starts, but likewise you don't want your bets taken in out of date markets if they fail to put it in play on time. |
