Thanks for taking your time in validating your point.

You are allowed two MTOs if the trainer determines that you have developed two distinct, treatable medical conditions.
So in Li Na's case the first MTO was for the ankle, the second was for the possible head injury. Source: ITF Grand Slam Rule Book |

What needed validating exactly?
|
|

what exactly happened to her head ,i missed that was concentrating on her ankle she clearly twisted second time and what caused her to stay on the floor obviously.
should have been penalized there |
|
By:
rulebook is stupid obviously as there should be no difference between spraining the same ankle again and for example spraining the other ankle.no difference but if they follow those rules allowing azarenka perform her circus ,why not penalize li there.

it was clear to see she knows the rules very well and slammed her head into the court on purpose

Yep that's why they were asking her name and waving fingers in front of her eyes. Jesus wept. |

By:
yes u right, jeesus.... how can people be so naive they obviously covered it to let her get away with it, because its not important at the end of the day
|
|
By:
To be fair if she'd told them she could see Santa Claus and an octopus she'd have been making more sense than you do.
|
|
By:
she hurt her ankle again and they rushed to her and checked her head, there is not much sense needed
|

By:
would be a riot had she answered "Vicky"

she whispered through spasms:
"this is....Liii" http://i50.tinypic.com/35atyt0.jpg |

![]() oh how the hell did we miss that one when it was happening!? ![]() |

shame |
|
By:
gates of hell were ready to open at any moment to let it's worst creatures to defeat Li
so it doesn't matter how many MTOs she had, she was cursed from the start when she stepped into this court |

Nowhere can I find in the ITF rulebook that you are allowed two injury timeouts.
|
|
By:
"Medical Time-Out
In the event that a player sustains a medical condition during the match or warm-up or believes that medical diagnosis and treatment are required for a medical condition, the player may request through the Chair Umpire to see the Sports Medicine Trainer, also known as the Primary Health Care Provider. The Sports Medicine Trainer may authorise a one-time three (3) minute medical time-out for that condition. The player may make this request at any time during a match or warm-up." ... "However, a player will be allowed only one medical time-out per match for any and all cramping conditions." Different medical conditions except multiple cramps each warrant an MTO.
