Aga has won 13 matches in a row in straight sets this year. That is due to a massive improvement in her 2nd serve, she is easily winning more than 50% of points on second serve this year in most matches, hitting about 70& in 3 of her 4 rounds so far. Last year that was her weakness and her % dipped into the 30s and 20s at times. Li beat her easily 3 times on hard in 2012 and Aga's 2nd serve points won were 27%, 16% and 17%.
I think Li will make too many errors for Aga, she will bring out the errors in Li. Unless Aga's second serve fails her, she'll win in straight sets IMO. |

rad lost 3 in a row to li na when was in worst spell of form in recent years after very disappointing olympic and ended up as media c=scrap goat, and first two meetings carried injury also.
li is very dangerous for her as she loves to take ball early not allowing rad to have upper hand iun rally but she must keep ball inside, rad serve is firing since auckland and is y=the key to success as it allows her to be calm and comfortable. last meeting although li made lot of errors she played her top standard at times so i dont think the story will be different today, against aga every player who want to hit winners need really go close to the lines or shorten the angles but its very risky as well coz u make at least as many errors. li can generate power herself but imao she prefers to play power hitters as her strength is in redirecting fast balls, so rad is not perfect opponent for her but its tennis both are capable players so nothing is certain here, crowd will be behind li but rad will be focused and motivated |

Li Mug is going to turn muggy again when Raddy starts moving her side to side and dictating the points. When was the last time Li Mug beat someone decent in a slam?

Li Na has won 4 of their 5 meetings on the hard courts, BUT the last time was a fortnight ago when Rad won in straight sets. Li Na's wins were over 2 years ago. Whatever happens, I expect a straight sets win and the result 2 weeks ago, is likely to be the same again.

Guys, Li has played really well this week (i know Radwanska has too) and i think Li's price is well overpriced. I will be doing Li 2-1 and a cover on Radwanska 2-1. Also i will be going on Li to trade out as i think there is HUGE value there at some point in the match.

ARad dealt with her relatively comfortably 2 weeks ago..

does this match start in 1 hour 3 mins time?
|

By:
Li is a typical on/off player. If she is ON today, she can easily beat Rad in straight sets.
|
|
By:
its starts now

By:
ok cool

By:
Li played in Guangzhou and won the tournament in wintery weather. She then flew to Sydney where there is a time difference so she had jet lag and had to immediately play in 40 degree heat. She was tired and this must be taken into account when looking at her form and defeat to ARad most recently. Arad should win but I feel that the value is with Li. GL all.

Rad in straights for me. Li been way too error prone this tournament from what I've seen.

Little Serena also on better terms with Eva Asderaki than Huge Serena.
