I also think Schiavone is below par herself and if Petra doesn't play overly badly, she should go through. Depends on who's in better state of mind on the day.

2) Excellent winter preparation in Prostejov, Czech Republic, was followed by her statement that she 'needs to get used to a new body' by which she means that she strengthened parts of her body which were weaker and 'everything is mixed up' according to her. They have been in the process of changing some automatisms in her game with coach David Kotyza and she also has a new fitness coach. The aim for her is to be faster on the court and if you watch her closely you see she approaches her shots differently, making sure she is standing precisely and bending her knees properly. ================i think that she's trying to tell us that she's a CYBORG now
Don't know what you are aiming at here, jin_kazz, maybe you misunderstood it (for which I can't blame you because it's not always easy to translate from Czech which is a more delicate language than English). She strengthened some parts of her body but doesn't know how to use this extra power yet - to synchronize it with the technique of her strokes and movement to make 'the whole pack' up and working. She isn't expecting results from herself immediately, not interested in the defence of points after reaching semis at last AO, either. I think she has taken the right path even if the benefits of the changes will arrive later. Kvitova is a strong personality and a hard-working player, so it's hard to imagine she will be put off by a few set-backs or a drop in form.
