@tenniso...is there a thread that never imagines that the players are out to do the ordinary punter...Janko is all over this guy and Tips is now looking for an excuse. Complaining about dizziness. If 23 games had been completed it would have been settled. Only 21 were played so it's void. That's the rules this lot have on Betfair.

If a player retires before the completion of the match all bets will be void, unless the result to this market has already been determined.

It has already been determined. There can have been just one result for that market. He should be payed out.

Maybe it is done like it because a player could be defaulted, for example, and then the total number of games could not have been over 22.5.

Janowicz had already covered the handicap so that is a clear win or lose bet.

There's a lot of rule difference in tennis, you have to make sure you're clear about your bets especially if you're placing arb bets.
