I had a wager on +22.5 games and cashed out at the end of the second set, yet bet is deemed void? Seems a bit wrong that, considering I cashed out like...
I wish the handicap was void! they pay out before the end of the game so the retirement has not saved me.. losing bet! Even though the result is, won by retirement.
If 23 games had been completed it would have been settled. Only 21 were played so it's void. That's the rules this lot have on Betfair.

It's not an earth shattering amount of money or anything, and I understand it's well within their rules...still a bit of a bummer!
Maybe it is done like it because a player could be defaulted, for example, and then the total number of games could not have been over 22.5.
I'm not sure, doesn't seem too fair though.

Janowicz had already covered the handicap so that is a clear win or lose bet.
There's a lot of rule difference in tennis, you have to make sure you're clear about your bets especially if you're placing arb bets.

Yup practically all the bookies would have voided. Marathonbet has the same rules as betfair for the tennis handicap.
Could have worked in your favour if you hand backed Janowicz on the handicap. Betfair try and settles markets wherever possible so they get their commission.
