So right,
think I will quit betting, because I don't want to lose all of my money. Have been raped by Djokovic, Isner and Murray - lost about 7 k on these bastards.

cycling? Well everybody knows they are taking drugs, but they are fighting and want to win. I wouldn`t bother if they open cycling officially up for doping if they have to tell what they are taking.

Its a 1000 event - why on earth do these arrogant players treat their fans and spectators like mud?
Report Marin1977 November 1, 2012 3:53 PM GMT
Well granted if you want to be successful at it then you probably have to take doping.

Tennis could be fixed easily via a simple change of ranking system. This system does not punish fixing/tanking at all, actually the opposite.
Report hollywood85 November 1, 2012 3:54 PM GMT
This was bound to happen ffs, there's London next, and ATP enforces players to play in 1000s so not really the players fault, most if given the choice would not set foot here

Agree, players should lose points when they lose games, even lose more points the higher the ranking

Report yarik November 1, 2012 3:55 PM GMT

Report yarik November 1, 2012 3:59 PM GMT
How on earth somebody layed @590 just a break up, even though in tight match. I can't quite understand 1-590 shot, so sick.

I've often wondered if there's an ELO rating - more similar to the football one rather than chess - for tennis players. It would give a better guide than the current ranking system.

Report Marin1977 November 1, 2012 4:04 PM GMT
ELO gives accurate estimation of strength. If it was applied to tennis then these kinds of "tanks" would be punished heavily. GMs lose to amateurs in chess too, but extremely rarely.
