indoors because its near impossible to return his serve and you won't see much height from the bounces off his groundies either
that's all inconclusive edy .. you are trying to label everything
probably high due to his height and the height @ which he makes contact with the ball would need to be higher than most players
the constant bending of the knees would be troublesome
but nonetheless if he's serving well, will that matter?

if a player returns a hard serve they're going to block it back with slice
meaning they will inviteably leave a high bouncing ball

isner will have a bouncing ball on an indoor hardcourt after a player returns his serve
and what kind of bounce will he get on his opponent's groundstrokes?
they block the ball back and it floats back to him .. and the ball bounces high .. so all this high bouncing low bouncing stuff is academic

on a super indoor hardcourt he won't get a big bounce but if the groundstrokes are defensive shots he will

truth is, being super fast or medium both have their perks for isner
Did you know that Isner only played 2 tiebreaks in his first four matches on this super quick low bouncing court last year? None against a good server like Feliciano Lopez?
my point is you will see from how players return isners serve how fast the courts are
so? you know the statistics can lie from time to time?
Isner gets plenty of purchase on any kind of surface. Why do you think he had some of his best results in Paris (slow-ish) and Indian Wells (slow as can be)?
everyone is assuming these courts are slow simply because a few players have made exagerations based on their comparisons of the courts from last year

players expected super fast and beccause its a tad slower they're going on about it being as slow as valencia, which is jus absurb, you can jus see its much faster than valencia

i am not saying i am smarter than the players, i am saying they may have slightly exagerated jus so they can have their voices heard

donskoy was still outclassing many players and beating them by a landslide, he was @ home in russia and you could feel he would be motivated and he was.... GGL had barely played indoor hardcourt tennis until that match. Tbh i think it was a fix, DOnskoy started making errors all of a sudden... GGL is a mug, eratic, choking mug .. keep thinking he's class and backing tho lol
