Don't you think she has 'pride' at stake here?  She won't want to spoil her unblemished record this week.  She'll be secretly pleased that Aza lost to Serena - and she won't want to be in the same place, having lost to a much lower ranking.  It's only my feeling as a competetive woman - take it or leave it!  Odds will perhaps go up a little in play - but, she'll win is my wager :)

Aza is also competitive woman, and she tanked against Bartoli in similar scenario last year. That being said I think Masha's attitude is different in a situation like this.
