1.4 seems very high and good odds forr gasquet, nieminen it is an old man and even a good week doesn't justify that odds imho.

agreed, only condition is that he doesn't face an even bigger mug :) and gasgay is trying his best to fill those shoes...

Report drwankenstein80 September 29, 2012 10:33 AM BST
gasgay is a much better player though and more composed. jarko is a mug choker
Report atlasshrugged23 September 29, 2012 10:35 AM BST
are you actually putting your money on gasgay at this point? (ie before the end of the set)
Report drwankenstein80 September 29, 2012 10:35 AM BST
no but if i was wagering on anyone right now it would be him

aha, so you're not that confident either...
Report atlasshrugged23 September 29, 2012 10:36 AM BST
because from what I am seeing, sharko is by far the better player, he just fukced up a few serves and let gasgay back in...
Report atlasshrugged23 September 29, 2012 10:36 AM BST
only big advantage gasgay has now is psychological... as you correctly said, choking that badly rarely allows a player to recover
Report drwankenstein80 September 29, 2012 10:36 AM BST
doesnt matter he is still about to lose the set imo

mate, 2000 quid on 34:1 is playing with money, does not say anything about the owner having built it carefully...

1.01 odds on Nieminen was joke of the year. Too bad i didnt had guts to take Gasquet on 4 5 second set and break point, he was 3.1 or something. Tooked him after that break and one point, for 1.8 odds. i think gasquet should be winner in 3rd set, he is lot psihologicaly better. if niemeinen didnt make it with set up and 4-0, and 2 points from match, i dont know what he can do now. Gasquet started his engines

anything can happen

like in Monaco's match

but momentum is with Gasquet.

and he's kinda good in a deciding set
Report drwankenstein80 September 29, 2012 10:50 AM BST
gasgay didnt actually improve his game that much to win the set. nemo was traying to serve it out and threw 2 DFs in at 30-15. i managed to lay off half my exposure at 1.14 but shoudl have seen it coming really and dumped the lot and more besides given he has a history of this kind of mental midgetry
Report atlasshrugged23 September 29, 2012 10:51 AM BST
wouldn't be surprised either, sharko hasn't collapsed mentally, he's still hitting the ball quite nicely
