Suprised to see the H2H is 4-4, albeit with the frenchmans last win coming in 2008. Based on this weeks performances Beannetau has looked flawless whereas Ferrer has been somewhat lacking by his standards, dropping sets in both his matches against against Bogo Jnr. and Sijsling respectively. In neither match was he convincing and would have been well beaten by a higher quality opponent. Ferrers SP of 1.26 looks very light in the circumstances and is a definite lay for me.
this was the most obvious lay of the year for me for the reasons stated in the opening post. ferrer clearly struggling this eeek and benny looking tip top

I dont know, Benne is quite remarkable this week it seems while Ferrer wasnt all that impressive yesterday... I think bookies always overrate Ferrer in these best of 3 set matches since they usually dont become a fitness issue...
I like backing Ferrer in slams but i hate him in these tournaments...he will always win a fitness battle but he can definitely be outplayed even by players ranked much lower then him, on a certain day.
