Now much as I love Laura - how tired will she be from yesterday tennis buffs ?  Wasn't too keen on Cirstea yesterday.  Will she feel intimidated by GB new star ??

I choke I'm happy about. I backed Cirstea at odds of 3 and it took that comeback/choke to get me out of my bet without losing anything!

she was scheduled to play in the qualies but obviously she won't be able to... her current form definitely warrants a WC...

Far too good for her.  Only lack of concentration towards the business end is holding her back in matches now.

Will be top 20 perhaps top 10 by the time Wimbledon comes round again

Cirtsea is such a frustrating player. Seen some of her matches this year and I was sure she was going to end up the year inside the top ten but she has been playing crap for teh past few months. She was brilliant in Stanford until she came up against Serena and since then she has regressed badly. Talent definitely there but she seems to be wasting it for whatever reason.

talent is there surely, but you can't be serious about top 10... there are at least 15 players right now who could beat her on any surface, on any day

Deadly serious. Handsome Irishman wouldn't joke about what is such a grave matter. No seriously, really thought she was going to push on. And lets face it it's not that hard to believe she could make the top ten. Look at Errani and Bartoli. Two top ten players that have also flattered to deceive on numerous occasions.

Her loss against Tatishvili at the US was particularly disappointing after beating Lisicki in the 1st Round.  She may have found her level, top 50 player and no more.

Lauras victorious march to the top 15 continues. More WTA muggary, they say. Yes, backing against the new machine that is Ms Robson most certainly is.

Laura, Laura will tear you apart, again.Love

come on, both bartoli and errani are significantly better... errani chases down EVERYTHING and she plays a very intelligent game, while the power of bartoli is really up there.. cirstea doesn't have a weapon like that... however, let me say it again: definitely has a lot of talent, and I can see her stick around the top 30-40 for a while

Although you are right HI, the likes of Kerber and Errani have taken a while to get going but I don't see that she has any real weapons.
