Without doubt, Barthel is not as clever. But she is more talented.
Flipkens is very combative.

Flipken's is a suprise package but ultimately really not a good player this is amazing how she has made it this far but will still lose
you never know with barthel, she might just give up and lose the 2nd set 6-2

That is the sad part, she is so limited she gives her best and STILL the opponents have to beat themselves. She has very little weapons.

The one good shot Flipkens has is that inside-out forehand behind her first serve. Hit it well a couple of times this game.
Goes minibreak up only to miss an easy volley into the net and then double fault. Jaw-dropping stuff.
require some mental strength of Flipkens to win this after all those chances...well done!
Barthel is one of the biggest mugs in the top 50 for losing this match utter joke
