last time they played was in 2008 and Tipso won, even though Tipsa was more of a journeyman back then whereas now they are both top players.

Should be a very interesting match to see, i think Janko has a chance to outplay him unless it becomes a marathon then you have to fancy Davide...

Tipso will try and hit through him for sure, he aint no mug like Gasquet who had all the chances in the world to make at least somewhat of a match out of it but couldnt take any chances

i thinking of lumping on Tipsarevic and looking to trade out when he gets to 2.5 or there abouts, what do you think guys? the worst thing that can happen is ferrer runs away with it 3-0 with no problems, hopefully that wont happen.

You have to be suicidal to bet on Tipsarevic here.

i'm not saying tips will win but can he give me a opportunity to trade out? thats the question.

I have layed Ferrer at 1.41, I agree with The Bhoys and jaga that his price is way too short and will surely trade higher at some point.

I took 1.42 and feel good about it. Can always increase position if opportunity presents itself.

Taking Ferrer @1.42. You need to give your head a shake if you think thats the best price you are going to get.  Mug punters like you are what this place thrives on.  Cheers in advance

agree price is very short. only reason you could think of is that they have similar styles but ferrer is more durable. still worth a lay of david imo as his ue count has been very high

Gasquet should have taken at least 1 set if not 2 against Ferrer.
He did not because he screwed up.

If Yanko is given that opportunity, I am sure that he will take it.
So, yes 1.40 something is a bit of joke.

Cannot see Ferrer winning this match in straight sets.

most ominous thing about Ferrer's run was him needing a tb to dispose of Igor Mugling. imho he's in trouble already
By:
Biscuit1979
When: 06 Sep 12 18:14
Yes but to counter that, Tipsy needed 5 sets to beat Rufin
By:

When: 06 Sep 12 18:17
Rufin is all Fight and it was R1. Sijsling is useless

Fair point.

I'm laying 3 sets anyway, can't see either of these winning in straight sets. Expecting a good 4/5 set match.

you'd definitely be suicidal if you backed Tipso on clay against him but i rate this matchup so much even on a hardcourt that i see no value in Ferrer's starting price.

very exciting match this

whats wrong with this forum ,have just written my something and when i posted it forum refreshed itself and my post goneScared

ferrer good on all surfaces much tougher draw with variety of players, but shaky at beginning of the matches then grinding way to win. tipsy came back from 2 sets down against rufin , beat tired kohlshreiber

tips has game to outplay bit one dimentional ferrer but can he keep his level and concentration for enough time to overcome relentlessness  and intensity of never tired ferrer who will be keep going and going and waiting for small deeps of contentration to jump on tipsy back and finally grind him to ground?
there should be plenty of breaks so the prices will jump up and down but eventually after long match ferrer should win

Am I the only one who thinks ferrer is too high? lol i was expecting something like 1.3x. All the talk about it being hardcourt is pushing it abit since ferrer had some decent results here and beat nadal before, beating nadal in a slam is no mean feat. But fair enough, its tipsy's best surface. Another thing to consider is we are at the end of the season where many players are experiencing fatigue, etc and Ferrer is top 5 fittest player on tour so you gotta fancy him if it goes the distance, which is very likely because i cannot see tipsy winning it 3-0 against a fit Ferrer.

Additionally, something I noticed about Tipsy is, among all the Top 10/20 players, Tipsy seems to be one of the worst in terms of winning a game from 00-30 or 00-40 down. He seems to start spraying as soon as he goes behind on serve, which is not good against ferrer who is top 5 returners on tour. But this is just something I observe and cannot back up with stats.

People should not read too much into his matches with Rufin , etc because he was never gonna lose to those mugs and tipsy has a history of F****g doesn't he?

believe it or not but i've only lost once since the start of US Open, tennis and football combined, out of close to 200 bets, although i mainly do very low odds betting. But I know one massive loss is coming my way so I'm mentally prepared and telling myself everyday not to be rash

I for one am glad to hear when people do well on here.   You will get jealous mugs like Marin1977 who dont like to see people do well but thats what loosing on betfair can do to people . makes them very jealous.

Best of luck with tonights bets everyone.

me too because i know its hard to win any form of betting so someone who's winning long/medium term must be doing something right. I'm lifetime loser on betfair and have tried close to every strategy! But recently i'm doing ok so i think i've found an ok strategy to make me a long term winner, but i need LOADS of discipline and patience which is always tough in gambling, otherwise we will not be gambling in the first place lol

Right.

From 13.08. until today:

170 markets played

113 wins
24 losses
33 "draws" (those are usually trades where I left the profit on the losing side)

Your 34 markets are merely a statistical blip, who gives a ****.

I am counting from 13.08. since that was the end of 2-day losing streak Whoops last time I had a 3-day losing streak was 15.6.-17.6. Wink

If 2 ticks prematch makes you so happy, you can have them.
