Betfair have just announced that Gibbs will retire at 15-40 in the 3rd game of the final set, therefore they have settled beforehand.
How can they get it back if I have used it again several times?
I cant see how they can takle it back If I have used it in another bet and had winnings off that bet?

I phoned up, the guy said 99% sure all bets will be settled as normal.

Well if Glatch does not win the money they paid out to me has already ben used to win other bets? So thats means I made money of money i should not have? Cant see them unraviling this unless individuals complain about there account
i just called the helpdesk. he tried to convince me that the match was finished until i told him I was still watching it. best he can do is .... send an email to someone. thank god we live in the 21st century.

they are ringing me back. I said I have a bet on but on the actual screen for th match odds it says I do not. There fore ther is no option to cash out. Surely this is not right?

if you placed bets with the winnings in those four minutes, fair enough, but of course they can still reverse the settlement, regardless of what you've done with the misprocessed "winnings".

Craftily, not only did they settle early. Whwn they re-opened the market they reversed the players. Anyone who lost in play should bring this into the mix and explain that you laid the wrong person as they put Gibbs on the bottom when she was on the top.
^^ what i dont agree with is bringing the markt back and hten giving me no way to cash out as it says I dont have a bet on!
i think you have a case with not being able to green out.
it's impossible to hedge a bet with a negative account balance.
if you were genuinely unaware that the match was still ongoing, and not being opportunistic, you've been screwed over because of their error.

Right this is absolute bs. 215 Down Here. As the market crashed i could Lay for Small Green. Now i have gone through money paid in negative balance and now to see Glatch has lost. I cant comprehend the incompetence of this. Messing with our hard earned
wlll see when they come back to me. DSo angry at them for messing this up!
Just emailed them complaining and attached a screenshot.
They should of Voided the market and returned all money staked, But no ofcourse not as that would negate any profit they could make

Virtuoso, if you were green on both players would you still be saying the same. Errors have occurred on several occasions on this site, only yesterday the site crashed for almost 40 minutes.

I was not green on both players. At the point of their mistake i would of been able to green out had i chosen to.
Exactly, then argue for your case and not expect Betfair to void legitimate trades. This sort of thing has happened to almost everybody at some point.

Apologies Endort, you couldn't back/lay as you'd staked the returns on other matches.

placed a bet. Market then ended. I thoguht retirement. Placed a new bet with my winnings. Saw a thread about the match and had a look. They said it had not ended and there was an error. Betfair put my account in the negative and put the Gibbs/Glatch match back in play. DUe to being negative it would not register my bet and I would not cash out or do anything with my bet(it did not even recognise I had a bet on the match!).

Endort, you probably have a case to have the bets you struck with any potential winnings voided, however i believe your original bet will stand imo.
Had a reply from BF basically saying they don't give a sh""t. Totally arrogant! They said it was reinstated early in the 3rd set - I'm sure it was about 4-3 or 4-4 before it was back. They admit making a mistake but don't want to void the bets! What a shambles and bunch of crooks.
I sent 2 emails and got back 2 replies, the first one stating it was an "operator error" and the second one saying it was due to "technical difficulties"
