Kerber is really feeling sorry for herself now....most of the crowd seem to have adopted Li as a Yank been like that for some time apparently..

last serv game really big, affected kerber

hard to fancy kerber at all in the 3rd.  Looks knackered and is returning too many balls to the centre of the court.  Making it easy for li to dictate the points and send her all around the court.  Only chance she has is if Li starts making UE again which is more than possible, but this strategy from Kerber not gonna get here anywhere.  Quick 3rd set for Li on what we've seen towards the end of this 2nd.

From what I see, I think that this little rest will be enough for a kerber hold, then a market will react from 1.7 top 2.1 on li, if li hold the 1-1 then kerber will be fcuked and will probably lost easy

with li's propensity to choke, you'd better hope that kerber hasn't got the fight.

Krbr looks tired now. SHe said in her blog she had hardly any rest or food since the last match

Problem with Serena is that she has to take 3 months off in every 6, she came back for Wimbledon looking like Arnie all pumped up, but I have noticed before, the muscle gradually turns to flab and she loses her form then goes off injured again....I think she will claim to be injured for the US and come back again fully tanked up next year...

feel a little bit sorry for her, her week probably just caught up with her.

but kerber's movement during the first half of this match combined with the power she was getting when pushed out wide was some of the best in the game. in fact i'm struggling to think of anyone better, possibly azarenka and clijsters at full fitness. (serena's not a great defender because she's usually on the attack so early)

Totally agree with this. He might be a great technical coach - I've no idea - but he has nothing when it comes to inspiring Kerber.
