The correct odd for me would be 1.70@BF, and I think that Simon has mauch more quality to win this match. Marcos For me can never be backed, Everys marcos' match for is either no bet or lay marcos.
@jerry maguire What do you mean? Simon will be motivated?

I read arguments like 'no points to defend here' every week. So what? It's not only about defending points, also about winning matches and possibly the tournament. So what if he got no points last year, it doesnt mean he doesn't want to win this year.

I agree, points to defend is important, if a player has points to defend. But if they don't, you cannot rule them out. The time to rule them out is when they have defended those points in the previous week, or are maybe getting some practice in for a defence of those points the next week. Most players outside of the top batch do not want to have a huge batch of ranking points to defend in one period of the season.

Well exactly SoA those times you got to be a bit more careful. But often I read people betting on a player because there opponent simply has no points to defend. That makes no sense at all.

He is in poor form. He lost against Haas in his last match winning
just 5 ponts. He seems to have great emotional problems and very
much error prone. The head to head is not significant here. I don't
see Simon having a good time against Baghdatis.
Maybe I am missing something.
Good luck to all of you

Simon over-rated and one dimensional clueless when beaten by Haas last week, kept doing the same thjings over and over expecting a different result....

Dont know how Simon and some others keep their ranking positions the number of times they roll over to bums, I am sure that Ranking points are awarded for looks Ivanovic being a case in point.
