Querrey's confidence is sky high after very convincing and easy title run in LA.
Not a big stretch to say that he sees this tournament as another opportunity to get further up the charts, since he faces: round 1: Andreev (should win this) round 2: Becker or Johnson (again, should win it) QF: probably Anderson (H2H 5:3 Querrey but this might be tricky)
Andreev lost to Berankis in LA (as predicted) and Bernakis got slaughtered by Querrey in the final (to be fair, it was his 1st ATP final). In theory the surface here should be somewhat better for him than the one in LA, but I just don't see him taking Querrey out.
Pinnacle currently offers 1.233 on Querrey, which is about right and 1.27 here offers slight value.
Best move seems to be a small initial back with the idea of waiting for a while and taking a better price if it presents itself, or simply waiting to see what happens.
Querrey up 4-3 15-0 on his own serve, suddenly throws in 3 df...interesting player indeed :)And even now lost the tiebreak in 2nd set, love it. Querrey really can lose from any kind of frontrunner position.
