We are going to see some matches from Carlsbad, CA finally. Both Nadia and Varvara playing well recently, none of them lost a set here. Varvara reached her career high ranking this month, will be representing USA at the Olympics (got her citizenship this year I believe) and looks like she's got plenty of gas in her tank to keep moving up for some time. Nadia - except for two losses to Camila Giorgi - is also enjoying a successful year, has stopped her ranking slide, and seems to put her health problems on hold, at least for now.
I expect the match to be much closer than the odds suggest.

just keep it. Petrova had a bad start and looked a little bit rusty but Lep is gone since 3*-3. Absurd amount of UEs and laughable returning.

Layed Petrova pre @1.6 I am prolly sticking to it. Serving first during the deciding set is always nice.
Lep´s game was off for 15-20mins after 3*-3 but she stayed calm and kept a good attitude. Whereas Petrova kept moaning and throwing her raquet. |
