i trust in ferrer,in his match vs murray was a surprisingly a fair result,but still a player with great defensive game, soon 11-0 h2h to magro.
This should be 1.05, Almagro has a convenient excuse with the shoulder thing.
hmmm all their matches this year went the distance, seems like almugro is closing in on ferrer, can he do it this time? Also, what was the shoulder thing about? Sorry not been following this tourney, is almugro injured or what
odds definitely seems generous considering this is on clay and the 10-0 HTH
just checked, BOREDO took a set off ferrer, soft spot for spanish players? would take boredo out in 2 if he plays normally
yes magro chockes when he is close to win ferrer..but they really play close games..magro has injury probs with shoulder..

Ok thanks - although odd that an injury gets better during a tournament, lol
saying almagro cannot beat ferrer because of h2h or shoulder problem is ridiculous, he was flawless in the last match. I'm on almagro's side
he definetely CAN beat him but to actually doing it is a different thing

Yes, he sprained his shoulder slightly in DGT match, I think during the warmup since he showed clear discomfort in the 3rd game of 1st set. But it seems that it is getting better (rest between matches is enough for such minor injury).
I just think that he will start paying attention to that shoulder if things go sour vs Ferrer as a convenient excuse.
im matched almagro 6.0, i'll give $10 to the OP if almagro wins
It is actually 10-1 if you include a Spanish Masters event.
This will look close as usual but only one winner in the end.

that's what happens when all the other top players can't be bothered, and to be fair, Williams hasnt been bothered either, but wins even then.
why do I suspect this match is going to turn into a long winded affair, with Almagro winning the next set and getting ahead in the deciding set, but not winning.
every match these days seems to be a real grinder when you bet on the favourite.
if Ferrer wins first game second set, laying ferrer must be some value.
agree magros injured he cant even beat ferrer when on great form so its should be a 6-2 or 6-3 second

he played guys like hajek, gimeno traver,minar..if he played dimitrov he would have been eliminated
you guys should be happy you got such great odds on Almagro against those mugs

I did after first point, when he looked good in that first rally, but switched soon, made a few back and lays and managed some nice green.

that was really bad luck hdieu, because at that time he looked pretty confortable on serve and the whole match looked pretty tight, odds were too low to reflect that momentum. But as often happens mugro just lost concentration and mugged his serve away.
The only time of the year you can trust Mugro is during the golden swing in february, the rest of the year he's under-performing.

I've seen Ferrer struggling a lot more against previous opponets than he is against Almagro
Sadly I dont see the future... :) When i place bets I always consider anything can happen, I try to trade momentum, make some green, then I trade more relaxed with the green.
To be fair to Almagro, if he's been injured all week, he's done well to get to the final. The bits I've seen of him, he's not looked convincing but has battled through to win.

Yes and no, in the past for sure, actually im not sure if fed would win vs ferrer if he meet him in FO for example. Mugro certainly has the technial weapons to beat fed on clay as well, but mentally he will crumble 90% of time.

thepunter - when Mugro wins the French Open he can be considered ahead of Fed on clay... 
agree, who knows, if nadal, djoko fed and ferrer retire, maybe we will see that day.
