Who was the mug on here that blamed Cornet's slump of the past years on being mentally fragile after a single loss a few years back. I forgot who it was but I still have to laugh about it.

that would be me. hello, snott, what was your prev username? maxed out all your cards and had to use a new one, did you? and you call others mugs Grin

this would be the match. she was 5-2 up in the 2nd and blew easily 10+ mps before collapsing.

9/2010 WTA Monterrey (MEX)    Hard    Anastasija Sevastova    Alize Cornet    2-6 7-5 6-1

though some say it was the loss to safina here that started the decline.

3/2009 WTA Australian Open (AUS)    Hard    Dinara Safina    Alize Cornet    6-2 2-6 7-5

No it wasn't you gvl. And I'm sorry to dissapoint you but no other usernames here. Are you not aware of the fact that you can read the forum without participating.

I really can't believe there are people who think her slump was because of a/ that single loss.

Btw, you seem easily offended

i had heard some people who are banned from betting on bf still feel compelled to use the phorums. seems rather odd to me.

btw, you seem to jump to erroneous conclusions rather easily

Well I apologize for saying mug and stuff like that, I guess it would fit in with most people on this forum :) Though I stand by what I said about cornet's slump

And I don't think I jumped to any conclusion at all.

Laugh

i can see you're an experienced internet warrior Grin using that old gambit immediately puts me in a no win situation, as not replying is a tacit agreement, but replying simply proves your point Mischief

oh look, tennis has started. enough of this nonsense.

Well tbh, in this particular case it`s more about opinion that 'fact' anyway. And yes by only reading the forums you learn enough to use for yourself on here. Anyhow I guess I was a bit harsh in my first post.

But yes time for me to focus on the Barbora Silvia mtch. GL

That point at 30-30 said it all. Even someone who never had a racket in hs his hands would have finished that point, it was that easy. Yet cornet manages to loses it. People keep overrating her over and over again. She's simply not a good player, but I love these kind of odds on her opponents.

I meant the point that became 30-30, it should have been 15-40.

cadantu the moonballing queen
By:
Snott
When: 11 Jul 12 17:54
They're both moonballing. At least Cadantu does go for the winner once in a while. Haven't seen Cornet try that once. One of the worst performances I have seen this year. It's kind of sad she is 55 in the world

it looks like neither could hit it through a wet paper bag! Agree this cant be the 55th best women in the world at tennis, really?

I know you were not defending cornet, but it's not only Cadantu that starts the moonballing. Anyhow, a very bad match this is.
