First things first... haven't been able to watch closely and i understand that maestro had an injury issue in R16's match against Malisse

I'm reading now that "Six-time champion Roger Federer produced a masterclass to beat Russian Mikhail Youzhny 6-1, 6-2, 6-2"

Pinnacle opens with Djokovic at 1.441... is that the lay of the Open Era ?

If you haven't been watching then why are you forming an opinion towards a bet?
Mug.
Any Nole will destroy Fed.

I believe odds would be around 1.70ish without the 'injury concern...
It will obvious be a complete different match so Feds back will be tested...1.45 awful if Fed is 100%...

In my opinion FedEX will win this - first meeting on grass an if Fed would not be able to beat him on grass - tell me where else? Nice odds

first and last meeting on grass, djok will retire fedders .

the injury was a concern when it manifested itself.

you would imagine that given his performance today, his comments after the match and that it a known now and can be managed before he gets on court, that it's approaching a non-issue.

the price is crazy. should be 1.85 djokovic minimum. it's clearly the surface where fed has the largest relative advantage.

agree 1.43 is an insult

i stand by the opinion on a quickish surface federer remains the only bad matchup for djokovic
Report aaronh July 4, 2012 8:46 PM BST
1.43 is a shocking price

1.43 Djokovic. God help me.

Straight sets win for Federer.

Oups  Cool

don't think it is an insult jsimpson67.

just judging on federer in the last year, he doesn't apppear to have the legs in a slam...

what i do agree on though if the weather is nice and the court is fast he can definitely put it up to nole...under the roof however the odds might look massive.

but for me the djoker will still take the beating, has just looked like he is just going through the motions up till now imo.

I'm hoping Fed wins, because should Murray beat Tsongs I would like to see a Fed v Murray final.

@ harry callaghan...I'm sending you a PM.

djoker is like your namesake makybe diva a great stayer and he will have the legs of fedGrin...youzny is just a puppet for federer and made him look very good...people are going overboard imo

for me murray is way to short and would be max lay if jo will had had a better prep for the tourney (finger) this is the price people should be talking about...
Report jsimpson67. July 4, 2012 9:15 PM BST
you have a point there as when you look at halle, i thought fed looked poor against mayer and raonic and obviously poor in the final that he lost, but against youzhny he looked great when demolishing him 1 and 3.

it has been the same here i suppose. poor against benneteau, poor/injured vs malisse and then great vs youzhny again. he is the ideal matchup, nice talented player but with no big shot and not superb on the defense either so is the danger of being overly influenced by that as people were in halle
