Surely Fish will be able to see off ward, who struggled in the first round against a lesser player

1.44 a good price?

any opinions?

Personally hoping that the market thinks like you. Want a better odds on Ward but realizing the drift may just continue.

people go on about health and injury problems, do you think someone like Fish is gonna come to wimbledon all the way from America to lose to James Ward, I don't think so

Ward couldny beat Fish at a game of rock, papers, scissors

Fish to win 3-0

Betfair-loser has spoken by backing ward to win, everyone else get all your money on fish now. Betfair loser has just ruined any chance ward had

ive seen both 1 rd matches. fish has to step up his level significantly, otherwise he will lose 3-1.
fish's 1rd opponent rrh was pathetic and still he has had chances in every set.
ward was hot and cold in his 1. rd, but surely more convincing than the american.

Too ill to attend a PC this morning, that's why I thought Fish was drifting.  Hope he gets through 1 set.

It could be that he was fit to attend and just could not be bothered of course.

Fish would beat Ward if he had 4 stookies on, had food poisoning and was temporarily blind for a day ....

Fish looks fine during the warm up, why are people worried about him playing a guy that really isn't that good?

i dont think you guys realise how bad fish actually is. HE struggled in his last match agaisnt a nobody, had to rely on tie breaks. Ward on the otehr hand is a good good player

because he played crap against an even worse nobody(at least when it comes to Grass) last round

Ward is not a good good player, he only went through in five sets against someone who is not a grass court player.

Im not betting but fish will win

Fish will win. Maybe not in straight sets, but my money is still on him.

do you know about his health/heart-problems in the last months? Laugh
fish is far from well prepared for this tournament and has had his head elsewhere. if you are crazy, than back mardy at those tiny odds. i will keep laying. Happy

Ward is 173 in the world, good good player?

Fish will have to be well off for Ward to win a set.

It's not like Mardy struggled against a low ranked grass specialist, he struggled against a low ranked clay court loser

Only way Ward will win is if it's a retirement, thats why my bet is at the bookies as it wil lbe void, but if it goes to an end there is only one winner ... FISH

No disrespect to Ward, but he doesn't exactly get any better does he, been around for ages and still does not very much ... Fish, is in a different league, good health or not
By:

Mardy health issues
Mardy poor form over whole year (two are most likely linked)
struggling against a guy who has never won a match on grass

Confused
By:

it's more about opposing Mardy than fancying Ward to win

“It felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest,” Fish told USA TODAY Sports in a phone interview Sunday from his home in Los Angeles where he was recovering from a medical procedure on Wednesday, cardiac catheter ablation, to correct faulty wiring in his heart.”

“It has been so scary,” Fish said of the misfiring electrical pulses that caused him to jolt up in the middle of the night with extreme palpitations and which doctors described as a form of arrhythmia. It started afflicting him in February.
“During days, I’m totally fine,” he said. “I can track it and work out fine. But every time I would go to bed my mind would start racing. Is this going to happen tonight? Is this going to be another night like that? It was super hard to go to sleep.”

“I was completely panicking,”  “I thought I was going to die.”
