Kohl will come in here full of confidence imo after winning a title....i am a big fan of john but his best will come in the states despite some of his performances in the past on clay...he was hitting the ball like a retard v cilic...really awful...this wind wont do him any favours..just like KOHL in this at the price

Don't particularly see why Isner would struggle more in wind than kohlschreiber, mentally or technically

do you not think if isner serve is restricted slightly due to conditions if gives kohl a better chance..its not as if john can rely on his baseline game to beat him..maybe i am looking too much into isner v cilic...he was absolutely rubbish

But his ball toss is probably lower than Kohlschreiber, from the point he releases it of course - not the actual height it goes up.
And his serve is more compact, as are his swings off the ground, and shanks less too. Anyway, Kohlschreiber is a perennial loser but perhaps he'll pull this one off. Struggle to have any faith in him. |

Wouldn't want to call it. If loser kohlschreiber turns up it'll be painful for his backers, if a real man shows up, he's got a decent shot at it.
Who knows which one turns up. Always thought Rome was quickish, looks slow. Perhaps that's just in relation to Madrid |

Serious issue for Kohlschreibers high ball toss as mentioned before - only topspin serve will not be enough against Isner, he has some possibillities going for the return winner on these kind of serves on clay - This one is really hard to call.
