pova could well be a bit tired after 2 big matches
recent history of puzzling no shows in finals doesn't inspire confidence though i would love to see pova finally play properly vs the very average azarenka and kick her arse |
|
By:
Yes, pova is serving and playing well. A repeat performance
v kvitova and keeping the balls very deep might swing this match into her favour. Her mental strenght has been bloody awesome. I am just a little bit worried how she will be handling balls coming at her down the lines. It will be a tough one. |

it would be great if aga and masha get together in doubles team and mock azarenka a bit
![]() i think sharapova is playing very focusused and with big determination recently i like very much but still she has holes in her game with can be explored. she isnt that great making shots on move especially when moving forward and azarenka is best on those short crosscourts down the servis line, she is constantly finding those amazing angles both backhand and forehand masha of course hits flat but any shorter ball will be punished. so either perfect match from masha with not many errors and better 1st serve % than yesterday, or errors and domination of azarenka |

Masha is free money here.
She is gonna kick crap out of Aza's brains today! |

hey ;]p, I like your new avatar!
![]() way better than that monkey before. |

Azarenka's 'average' performances could beat Sharapova's best any day of the week. Sharapova played the best I have seen her yesterday but benefited from Kvitova's unforced errors. Azarenka won't give anywhere near as many and will convert the many break points she will get

Sharapova played the best I have seen her yesterday not been following tennis long then, clearly |
|
By:
actually, that may be a good thing, as those who have seen pova at her best probably have skewed ideas about her. if you've only seen her recently you have a more realistic appraisement.

Sharapova is too one dimensional and will never win another Grand Slam. Azarenka will win easily in two like Australia and Indian Wells

Maria can't handle Radwanska in a final on her preferred surface these days, let alone the fact that Kvitova converted 1/11 breakpoints against Sharapova yesteday.
Has anyone spotted Azarenka in that flashy Porsche yet? ![]() |
|
By:
1.4 yes. maybe market just reacting slowly
|

sharapova played very good match against radwanska in my opinion

pova's playing aza hth

By:
fact that kvitova didnt converted those breakpoints telling more about masha strenght more than weaknes
she was great on those points, lucky only once with the netcord,(if netcord could be regarded as lucky or unlucky) |
|
By:
Kvitova on the other hand wasn't so great on those points, which should become apparent when she's up against the Belarus who can maintain a rally for more than 3 shots without hitting a winner or unforced error outside the tramlines.
|
|
By:
thats true. thats why we shouldnt compare those matchups too much.
kvitova is killing machine, azarenka is allarounder. imao azarenka will win but sharapova is quite impresive recently, azarenka is so quick and also have very good defensive game as a base so its quite challenge for masha since azarenka improved her service game looks like its one way traffic when those two playing |

Hopefully Pova wins but I just cannot see how she will even win more than 6 games? Vika has destroyed her both times this year and we need to go back to last year when Pova beat her on the clay and certainly Vika has improved a huge amount since then so unfortunately I cannot see anything other than a comfortable victory for Vika
Just praying for a slow start so Pova wins the first couple of games to get a bigger price on Vika. |
|
By:
i see this match completely differently and have a big bet on masha. those odds are just amazing.
|

By:
last time she didnt exactly beat her on clay
2011 WTA Rome Clay Maria Sharapova Victoria Azarenka 4-6 3-0 ret. |
