wozniacki is not the same player. The price is ludicras. Lay Wozniacki
By:
JJ is not the same player either, so what exactly is your point? Do you even have one?
By:
yes. JJ has neither improved or decresed her level, she is just inconsistent. On her day shye can beat anyone but we dont no when she has her day. Wozzi has gone down to a top 10-20 player not at top ten player. She has had the worst year ever and is distracted by off field commitments such as her boyfriend. She hasnt won a tourney this year and is in decline. LAY WOZZI
By:
pre-match price graph looks interesting on WOZ
By:
That is more like it.
I disagree about JJ not decreasing her level. There are a lot of players who can beat anyone on their day (the UE machine players, who sometimes just hit every low % shot they try). Agree about Woz being out of it a bit but she is still a fighter when on court, and still better than JJ. The price looks pretty much correct to me, it started low but then went to around correct level (few ticks off maybe). |
By:
I would price this at around 1.42-1.48, probably 1.45 and it seems we will kick off about there.
By:
if this was last year then i would say the price would be correct but if we are basing it on current form then she has to be between 1.6 and 1.7. if i remember correctly she already lost to saforova at short odds? lost to kerber at short odds? was so close to losing against aviderson in three sets. im sure there has been more but those stand out to me
By:
Kerber is a big hitter, the type of player she always had trouble with. Safarova, well, she can really play well and I didn't see that match.
Woz was always big on comebacks, meaning she was no stranger to falling behind in a match before grinding it out. It seems we disagree on JJ mainly. |
By:
i dont disagree that Woz should be favourite and i hate backing janko at the best of times because u dont no what you will get. But i just disgagree at the price but i think wozzi has been dreadful all year.
By:
The form has to change sometimes, and this matchup is good for Woz.
By:
who did janko beat in the fed cup?
By:
Pavly and Kuzzy.
By:
oh two more bunch of nobodies. Irrelevant.
By:
You are kidding, right? Pavly can't move and Kuzzy is a shadow of her former self (resigned today vs. Begu too). If JJ keeps the ball in play, those are trivial wins on clay.
By:
yes, that is what i meant. Two nobodies, irrelevant wins for JJ. I thought she beat someone good.
By:
straight away you can see, JJ is in the mood here. Nice hitting, clean on the lines. This is no gimmie at all of Wozzi.
By:
I thought you were sarcastic
I am a huge Kuzzy fan though, hope she can make a few last hurrahs before she fades.Too early to tell, meanwhile I am amazed Peer is getting ready to lose to Johansson. |
By:
peer is another one, you just cannot do anything with. Loses to complete and utter nobodies but has the odd surprise in her aswell. Cant be backing Wozzi here at this price, seen enough. On clay wozzi wont be able to defend JJ's winners as well as she does on hard. Can already see gaps in that defence of hers and we know she wont be hitting any winners here today so it all depends on JJ
By:
All she has to do is call JJ to the net, those are automatic points.
As for PEer, she is the UE machine type. |
By:
'On clay wozzi wont be able to defend JJ's winners as well as she does on hard' Please explain?
By:
Wozzi on Clay just doesnt work for me, or anyone this year to be honest. Ive seen nothing here from wozniacki to suggest she will win let alone win comfortably. Break point JJ as we speak. No weapons from Wozzi to hurt janko
By:
yeah didnt get that either
By:
break JJ
By:
Well this is going exactly as predicted. I have told everyone to keep laying wozniacki at these silly prices this year. She is not a top ten player and 1.5 against JJ was just a joke. I dont understand why the market keeps pricing wozzi at these silly prices. 1.4 against kerber the other day!
By:
break back coming here i sense
By:
although JJ looks good in rally
By:
JJ just hitting these winners for fun
By:
Early days still. Meanwhile, 3-2 Johansson. I watch the SB with perverse fascination.
By:
when will the market ever learn with these prices from wozniacki. win or lose, its just wrong
By:
one thing about wozzi backers, her serve! Expect it to be broken at least two or three times
By:
per set that is
By:
wozzi is just not on her game in terms of defence. She just looks so uncomfortable out there
By:
JJ should really be at least 4-1 up
By:
and it looks like she just will be
By:
only one player playing tennis here
By:
Watching JJ come to the net is pretty damn funny
![]() Peer will lose from being 1.05 vs. freaking Mathilda Johansson. If that is not cause for retirement, then I really don't know what is ![]() |

By:
the worst gubbing this year i seen was murray against GL. 1.02 he started, lost in straight sets. I cant remember what the 2-0 set betting price was
