Rain delayed her R3 match vs. Voskobaeva, and then she managed to screw up a lead in 2nd set so had to play 3rd. Might be a factor in late 2nd set/3rd set here.

Despite Stosur's substance abuse, she is not the best when it comes to stamina (different than power). Also, choking away a break lead in 2nd vs. Vosko was not a good sign.

Experience in watching prematch odds made me sure the SP will be close to 1.5 so I took as much of 1.6+ as I could (10 normal stakes) and then layed the extra off between 1.49 (yup that was me) and 1.53 to get to normal exposure.

I don't normally do prematch trading but this was too obvious to miss.

Nah I left position on Venus, with heavy odds edge ofc.

Venus, with a terminal illness, is doing very well to play at this level. Not many people who know about tennis see it as a humiliation.

I doubt anyone who calls her "Penus" or tells her to get her wheel chair is capable of tenth of what she is.

I'd be the first to admit than I can't achieve one twentieth of what she has. That's why I admire her and have a lot of respect for her.

On the other hand, some of the stuff said here, about her and about other players, is plain offensive. And calling her "Penus" or another player "gash" is not funny, not clever and pretty disgusting, tbh.

And I don't take myself seriously at all. But I hope I have a minimal standard in civilised conversation.
