Is he maybe afraid of collecting enough points to qualify for the tour finals at the o2 later this year?
Or, is he trying out different partners before the Olympics come about?
Either way, why would he not play with Lopez here this week.... Unless Lopez couldn't make the trip?

I don't think Nadal is doing dubz this week. He probably just cba with it.

Probably because of the Olympics; Lopez won't be selected for the Spanish Olympic team (too lowly ranked) so I guess Rafa wants to build a doubles partnership with someone who WILL be selected (or certainly should be).

If Nadal wants to play doubles with Lopez at the Olympics,
who is going to oppose him. The Spanish Tennis Association? No way. If they play well together, then so be it |
