Can somebody tell me why Aza stopped retiring from matches like she used to back in 2010? Any serious suggestions?

too old the golden oldies aza is peaking at the right time
aza isn't peaking as much as the others are declining 
The last time Azarenka lost a match was precisely against kvitova in the championships
a declining and slightly injured clijsters took her to 3 sets in AO. serena has won their last meetings, but they haven't met in 2012 yet so we'll see how that goes.

no-one in the states turns up to watch womens tennis before 2pm, final or not.

I know it's not just keeping the ball in court but she makes so few errors. Very impressive.
sharapova wants putting up against a wall and shooting after that woeful performance. utter garbage
it's a very good win in what's been a very good tournament.
still think maria has room for improvement; she's faced a great deal fewer top 10 players in the last 6 months, and in particular this year, than aza and needs a lot more big matches to get the aggressive confidence she'd need to give aza a good game.
