Sharapova looks like a clear favorite here.
She had some troubles with Kirilenko yesterday but managed to overcome them and prevail in the end (as expected). Ground strokes are fine, serve decent when it warmed up, and her mental strength means she is never out of the contest until it is over.
Ivanovic has weapons (serve and forehand) but she is too reliant on them actually working near their peak, mentally she is not in the same league and in this type of contest that factor is huge.
Basically, if Sharapova gets ahead it is likely to be annihilation, and if Ivanovic starts well it is reasonable to expect a determined comeback attempt.
Together with moderate value offered by the market, this means I am on Sharapova.

Ivanovic is very athletic and should retreive a lot of Sharapova's balls. If she hits the ball to the corners as she did against Li Na, Sharapova's ungainliness will become a game changer.
This is only if Ivanovic's nerve holds though.....big league choker. |

This is a SF of a Premier event, so nerves are a notable factor.
Many players have the ability to win matches, so it is reasonable to say that rankings on the high end have correlation with mental side of things. |

i remembered Aus open when roger won one round match in 4 sets and that what made people think if del potro is going to give him tough time and Odds were 1.70 but it was the easy win for roger,so the same case is here after last night match most of us are thinking if ana is going to win but REMEMBER 'BIG PLAYERS ARE ALWAYS ON TOP IN BIG MATCHES'

i believe maria will serve more double faults than ana and get broken 3 or 4 times, I know ana's not miss consistent herself but it should lend itself to a lower price for ana at some point, my target is to get Ana at 1.9 ish and trade for a bit of green on each, here's hoping!
