Melzer played an amazing tournament in Memphis, followed 2 days later by a loss to Smyczek.
Bellucci got injured in Brasil, then lost easily to Granola in Mexico. He defeated Rosol yesterday but I am not convinced he can be a threat today - Melzer showed amazing returning skills lately and Bellucci is notoriously inconsistent in that regard.
Melzer should win it.

Smycek is the new Raonic coming from nowhere to top 20 next year I reckon + not unsual to lose early after a major tourny win ala Murray-so i am with Melzer-Marin

Melzer played fantastic tennis in Memphis. Took down several big servers on the way, yet now cant touch Bellucci

mnuglzer as usually has serving issues , memphis was a fluke which raised many eyebrows. but mug can comeback, he likes comebacks ,even in memphis he did it twice from behind a set.still once a mug always a mug

Mugzler ballsing up a nice 0-30 second serve opportunity. He wants no.1 mug spot badly...I really want to lay Bell-end but Mugzler is sooooooo muggy it hurts.

He seems to like lulling you into a false sense of security about how he's turning the match around, and then unleashes a series of unbelievable muggy shots as you cry in a sea of red digits and negative P/L.
