If they stopped thinking every match was fixed.

"fix, fix, fix I tells ya!" - Instead of realising the Top 20 player who's playing a mug just had a bad set and is now available at evens.

Is tennis really that corrupt?

Or are people just paranoid? Confused

pikal has it right, the fixing talk comes once the money is disappearing or gone and it's too late to make money....

If people really believed so many were fixed, they wouldn't be betting at all, there would be no point.

It's just denial generally. "I couldn't possibly have picked wrongly"

Your spot on. Said it in another thread that it's easily the most annoying aspect of this site.

If some idiot backs Davydenko v Golubev and Davy starts slow and loses the first set those backing him see it as a fix; then if Golubev suddenly stops playing as well and loses the match those who backed him see that as a fix.

They should learn how to trade properly.

Pathetic really.
