This is the first time in quite a while Raonic meets someone who can handle his serves and realistically break him multiple times per match.
1.38 is way too low here considering how Melzer has been playing lately.

Melzer has a very good record against big servers: 5-1 vs Karlovic, 5-0 vs Ljubicic, 2-0 vs Isner. He is reading the big serves easy as we saw in the previous match against Isner. Yes Raonic is on class above Isner .... but still 1.39 is way to short. Big chances of a first set tie break, or at least a close first set so a lay from the start looks like a good option here.

so, basicly all those stats ,about h2h against big servers and lefties suggest that muglzer is a big fav for this match and yet hes 1.4
lol seems to me that bookis r morons and either forgot to check the stats or just ignoring them from whatever reasons in this situation im with bookies,its very strange logic but it must be much more to that and its missing here. dont know about trading perspecitves coz im not gonna watch but as a match wiiner i would pick raonic |

yes but roddick used to be pretty good, while melzer has gotten better when getting older.

chelsea, raonic prob has the best serve in atp and has improved his groundstrokes and return lately. Very good player already and still improving.

Raonic has only lost one match this year to Hewitt on centre court at night in Aus (obviously he was feeling the pressure).
Since then he has not lost a set to anyone and is now going for his third title of the year. |
