Been back since mid-November, unemployable....  Too much like gambling, and, as I said on the football forum the other day, 60% of something's better than 98% of far call!  Sadly! 

Wozniacki is a pusher. Halep takes initiative, she's the complete opposite.

TBH, the handicap matches here have been absolutely dire this week.  Worst I can ever remember them being.  Still, at least BF bothers putting them up....

I am trying to branch out into other things - taxable things(!) - but still early days with it.  Gotta have some kind of backup plan as you never know when the next hike is coming!!

and it'll come that's for sure. I do feel a bit of a prat hanging about here nowadays, but bills have got to be paid.

Likewise I'm looking at doing other things, maybe having 3 or 4 income streams if I can manage it & using this as & purple as  a top up. The thought of going back to work for the man makes me shudder after all these years.

Yeah, got a couple of bookings for weddings and parties already this year but not really pushing that side of things.  Really trying to get a digital page-turning mag off the ground.  Currently five issues in - albeit it's free in its current guise - but it's going quite well.  Next step is currently looking at getting it on iTunes.  If that happens the market suddenly grows immeasurably and it becomes a commercial entity. 

I do still really enjoy this when the cash is there.  Paris was good but last week was poor and this week's been desperate so far.  First match on Monday ended with £259 matched on the HC and £100 of that was at 1.01 and £100 at 1.02....    Makes you reluctant to stick stuff up TBH.

I was trying some market making on purple & it's so bloody arbitrary when you have so little being matched. Hardly worth the effort, esp when you get one side matched & then you're holding on & there's sagebrush rolling across the screen.

Golf markets are tradeable over there though.

What's the name of your mag, I'll give it a butchers.

I think my time on purple was probably summed up by a Murray match at the US Open where, for once, they actually put a HC market up.  At the point where Murray actually went ahead on the HC there was a grand sitting there on him @ 1.92 while he was being laid here at 1.25.  I had a monkey of it (all I was prepared to commit to over there) and then sat there and watched as Murray allowed a string of three games, and any chance of covering the HC with it, to slide on past him.  The other monkey never did get taken!    The rugby world cup was fine over there if you didn't mind coughing up an extra 20 ticks!!    There's only so many times you can do that....

Had a similar situation one saturday on a del-p match. del-p 2 bp's down at 4-3 on serve final set. was trading about 1.96ish here. Was available to lay at 1.57 over there. Took it all down as I think you've got to. Ended up doing my conkers. Thing is with pc at 63% it wasn't evan an arb with that disparity on the odds.

I'll have a look at the mag later. Gotta do pancake tuesday now for the little one as I forget yesterday!

wow Lat, great mag. had a good look, from my pov not enough about the lightning, esp the anecdotal stuff from the pilots which is always the best, but v professional all the same.
