Kohli will be reading this topic before he bets in this match.
Just consider his total gain winning this match in two sets, $1,000? $2,000? Why win in two sets and win $2,000 when you can win in three sets and win $10,000 betting during the match (obviously with external assistance)? Do you really think tennis players are idiots? See how many matches are finishing in two sets. Why a very favourite players usually wins in three sets? See Belluci against Mello yesterday. He wins the first set 6-0 and loses the second 6-1 (obviously he won the third one 6-3 without risking his round). You can find this behaviour in all tennis players without a top 20 aspiration. They just play tennis to earn money, so they will always try to find the biggest risk/return staff through the bookmakers. Do you think this makes sense? Not betting a lot, just a little (compared to the bet volumes all matches have) doesn't make you suspicious and can help tennis players without a top 20 profile to inflate their earnings perhaps up the 4X. Does it make sense? |

Olmo it doesn't imo... have you ever played a single tennis point?
|
|
By:
Olmo can't agree!I simply do not believe he has the domination to control such an outcome-especially against Seppi
|
|
By:
Olmo -Somebody in News Corporation will grass him up,or anyone, found doing this kind of thing -particulary at this level.

when you read my question olmo.... two different answers:
1) Yes, you played a tennis point. Well you surely know how difficult it is to be focused on every point and how more difficult it is to play key points like break points and so on. Do you think player are able to control matches? How come Nishikori won over Tsonga then? And that is just an example.... Tsonga is world top 10 and coulsn't control little japanese smashed out of the court by Karlovic? 2) No, you never played a tennis point. I can tell you how difficult it is to be focused on every point and how more difficult it is to play key points like break points and so on. Do you think player are able to control matches? How come Nishikori won over Tsonga then? And that is just an example.... Tsonga is world top 10 and coulsn't control little japanese smashed out of the court by Karlovic? GL with your bets :) :) |

Rickysomas1, I don't know if you play tennis. I do, and really think you don't need a special skill to manage the situation when you play against "bad" players. Perhaps this match is not the best example for my consideration above (you're right Tommyhaas), but be sure that during the match, if Kohli sees he can manage the situation, he will be betting (and this is also valid for Seppi, very suspicious for me to have this kind of behaviour)
What I want to say with that reasoning is the extreme risk you face when you trade during the matches. Only top 20 and top 20 rookies (like Raonic) are reliable. The rest are not and it's very hard to find value without accounting that tennis players usually bet. |

kohly inform atm for sure

Yes yes Olmo, Kohli said a friend: "If I hit 2 DFs in a row lay me big, when I start hitting ace back me" come on be serious... if you tell what and when a player bets without aftertiming even once you're a genius....
Secondo it wil be easy for Kohli yto manage it of course, but if he plays me!!! Imagine you trade on your own match, you hit a double fault not on purpose and the other guy hits a winner, you are 0 30 and maybe it's third deciding set.... come on...let's talk about tennis..... tennis only please ;) ;) |
|
By:
Rickysomas1, you may also read carefully, i'm only talking about players without a top 20 aspiration. This excludes Nishikori- Tsonga from your analysis.
