why did germany chose to play indoors? i thought goerges and lisicki were both strong claycourters, remember that premier event Lisicki won in Charleston 09' when she didnt drop a set with beating Venus, Bartoli and Wozniacki back to back? Also Goerges plays her best tennis on clay without a doubt, she had a brilliant victory in Stuttgart last year and also played in Madrid...other then that she was quite rubbish elswhere...germans probably making a classic mistake by trying to play on their opponets weaknesses instead of their strenghts..
also any information about timea bacszinsky? i know she had some interview but i cant find it. i want to know how fit is she because if she fully recovered she could be a threat to the erratic mentality of stosur at the moment...

I don't think Supernando wanted them to play outdoors, just indoor clay. Especially as the Germany-Czech republic tie is played at the same venue as the WTA indoor clay tournament.
