I'm not sure how well known he is to people on this forum but I've just read that Daniel Gould, who was behind the website Sofabet, has died suddenly and unexpectedly aged 43. https://sofabet.com/2018/12/19/in-memoriam-daniel-gould/

I'm not really one to start forum discussions or participate on sites like his but I do think that this is a big loss to the specials betting community as his site has provided many many good steers towards successful betting opportunities over the years and was pioneering in this sphere. Sadly the site is going to be mothballed as well.  My thoughts go out to his family. RIP

Nice post Sekt.

Daniel was well known to quite a few members of the forum, some of whom had the pleasure to spend time in his company.

Although I didn’t meet him personally,I admired his sofabet site which was innovative and informative and have it on very good authority that he was a very intelligent, funny and gentle man.
