I recall threads in the past that confirmed that just because 'it might be you' does not mean you are in the bottom 2 during elimination. Sair was definitely last but Emily might well not be second bottom at all?
That would fit if Anne was bottom two and they did not want to alert the public to her being in danger and motivate a vote to keep her in when that would be cruel.

From @bear - "1st elimination Shappi, the it might be you was Kez = CORRECT 2nd elimination Kez, the it might be you was Vanessa = CORRECT 3rd elimination Becky, the it might be you was Vanessa = CORRECT 4th elimination Vanessa, the it might be you was Dennis = CORRECT 5th elimination Stanley, the it might be you was Amir = CORRECT 6th elimination Dennis, the it might be you was Amir = CORRECT 7th elimination Amir, the it might be you was Jamie = CORRECT
So all 7 were correct for this year
In 2016, 5 out of 6 were correct In 2015, 3 out of 6 were correct In 2014, 3 out of 4 were correct"
Personally, I think it was a correct bottom two.

Correct cricket, it might be you doesn’t equal bottom two. Plenty of times when that has been proven to be an incorrect assumption that it does. what I will say though is that it usually is, and based on what I read online it’s quite possible it was. I would say it’s 90% likely that she was in the bottom two last night.

I think Emily being probably bottom two despite a healthy amount of screentime should ring alarm bells, crazy that she’s second favourite. Harry should be a lot shorter

If that was the case they’d of never shown her touching moment about being a letdown to the family That was pure gold for her

Thanks all. Too much sense been spoken here for me. Completely overestimated Emily, decided on a Luton double with Stacey on the dancing show, and now irredeemably committed. Any Christmas gruel recipes?!

We know there hasn`t been a fake `could be you` for ages; we also know it`s something they have done often enough over the years. Emily last night was the second `surprise`this series, when on both occasions Anne was the obvious choice. If TPTB were ever going to start using that tactic again, not only is Anne the perfect candidate to protect, it would almost be OBLIGATORY to do so, given what the rejection might do to her fragile mind. I`m not buying last night`s `could be you`
