I recall threads in the past that confirmed that just because 'it might be you' does not mean you are in the bottom 2 during elimination. Sair was definitely last but Emily might well not be second bottom at all?

That would fit if Anne was bottom two and they did not want to alert the public to her being in danger and motivate a vote to keep her in when that would be cruel.

From @bear - "1st elimination Shappi, the it might be you was Kez = CORRECT
2nd elimination Kez, the it might be you was Vanessa = CORRECT
3rd elimination Becky, the it might be you was Vanessa = CORRECT
4th elimination Vanessa, the it might be you was Dennis = CORRECT
5th elimination Stanley, the it might be you was Amir = CORRECT
6th elimination Dennis, the it might be you was Amir = CORRECT
7th elimination Amir, the it might be you was Jamie = CORRECT

So all 7 were correct for this year

In 2016, 5 out of 6 were correct
In 2015, 3 out of 6 were correct
In 2014, 3 out of 4 were correct"

Personally, I think it was a correct bottom two.

dougie was in the bottom 2 but went on to win so that could be right

Dougie was genuinely in the bottom two in a tight vote between three contestants for second bottom of the vote.

Correct cricket, it might be you doesn’t equal bottom two. Plenty of times when that has been proven to be an incorrect assumption that it does.
what I will say though is that it usually is, and based on what I read online it’s quite possible it was. I would say it’s 90% likely that she was in the bottom two last night.

In how many series has a bottom two gone on to win? Is it more often or less often than 11-1 (Emily's current odds)?
Report Lifter December 4, 2018 4:02 PM GMT
I'd imagine a previous b2 that went on to win was due to not getting enough screentime. We've seen a lot of Emily, it just isn't great.

I’m reading a lot of people are liking Anne coz she’s not playing upto the cameras like Emily and fleur
They prefer Anne coz she’s being herself
Report armagnac December 4, 2018 4:06 PM GMT
And not liking John coz of the constant singing
Report Libertine93 December 4, 2018 4:24 PM GMT
I think Emily being probably bottom two despite a healthy amount of screentime should ring alarm bells, crazy that she’s second favourite. Harry should be a lot shorter
Report Libertine93 December 4, 2018 4:24 PM GMT
*third favourite

If that was the case they’d of never shown her touching moment about being a letdown to the family
That was pure gold for her
Report Libertine93 December 4, 2018 4:46 PM GMT
I doubt Anne was bottom two, imo she’s more likely to be top 2. Think bottom two tonight is likely to be Nick and Rita

Thanks all. Too much sense been spoken here for me. Completely overestimated Emily, decided on a Luton double with Stacey on the dancing show, and now irredeemably committed. Any Christmas gruel recipes?!

Out of them all I'd Love Anne to win, what it would do for her confidence.Love
I do think it's a very big ask though Sad
Report Libertine93 December 4, 2018 5:31 PM GMT
It happens cricket. If I wasn’t reading forums and the like I’d have assumed Emily was nailed on winner. Seems like a perfect fit.

Do you realise that if someone were to rub your legs several times a minute for four hours you'd have to change your username to "itsnotlocust".

We know there hasn`t been a fake `could be you` for ages; we also know it`s something they have done often enough over the years. Emily last night was the second `surprise`this series, when on both occasions Anne was the obvious choice. If TPTB were ever going to start using that tactic again, not only is Anne the perfect candidate to protect, it would almost be OBLIGATORY to do so, given what the rejection might do to her fragile mind. I`m not buying last night`s `could be you`
Report armagnac December 4, 2018 8:26 PM GMT
If that theory is correct, the second they say Anne bottom two
She’s out
Report timbuctooth December 4, 2018 8:27 PM GMT
Correct
Report armagnac December 4, 2018 8:30 PM GMT
It makes sense, we’ll find out within two nights
Unless Anne gets a massive moment or is well ahead Wink
