He was on instagram asking everyon to vote for him in SPOTY an hour before the show started, think someone mugged him off cos myself and the market believed it.
Though someone layed £5k at 3.85 top 3 just before the show started, so someone knew different.
bit odd if thomas wins when froome didn't having won 4 times. they've turned it into an x factor style circus. better in the old days when you voted on a post card or in a form from the radio times 
Froome was perceived as a drug taking foreigner. No rumours about Thomas taking performance enhancing drugs.
Fury doing well here. Managing to change public perception.
Thomas is a mile different from Froome, I think Thomas wins this.

I'm finding myself noticing people with disproportionately large heads more and more these days. Geraint Thomas here, the actor Ben Chaplin, the bald bloke in the smoking jacket off of that advert....
lots of occasions in recent years where the result in weak years has been nothing like the betting just before it's announced. last year farah won basically cos he mucked about with his kids

A very flat show overall.
Agree, didn't bother betting on this for this one. Reducing the shortlists doesn't help at all. Basically ruins the whole point of the award.
