Toff is not a stereotypical poshie, she`s an utter joy! Everything she says and does show her as a credit to her parents, and any young one willing to admit hating rap but loving Abba will do for me!
Yo, army, welcome back!Toff is not a stereotypical poshie, she`s an utter joy! Everything she says and does show her as a credit to her parents, and any young one willing to admit hating rap but loving Abba will do for me!
Junction; a few sources, including Tellymix, saying Iain Lee`s on his way in. I think he could be a real runner, so have been laying away to around 100%, building a very decent free green on whoever else enters.

i agree with mach, i think if this was big brother with the same celebs iain would absolutely hose up acting like a softer male version of katie hopkins..being outspoken but not as intense or as nasty and a bit more liked. he'll definitely spice things up as thats what he's being paid for as camp is currently as dull as fook, but im not sure the itv audience like these type of characters. iain already being compared to danny baker from last year who was 1st out on day 13, also another late arrival where its hard to win from, the field is weak and i was nearly tempted but i just think he's going in to cause sh1t, disrupt the camp, raise his profile a bit more and collect his cheque. this show seems more based on helping eachother and team work, fighting your fears..gob****s/trouble makers dont win this looking down the list of previous winners. if he is too win he'll have to act like someone else and not himself imo
actually looking down the list of male winners, there is an awful lot of nice guys on there

another gobsh!te that was voted out 1st was jimmy bullard, the itv audience just do not take to these clowns. jimmy obviously less educated and immature but if iain goes in guns blazing looking to cause trouble and be the centre of attention i think he will see the same fate.

Iain likes to be edgy entertaining and controversial, his career is in a lull right now. It will probably suit Iain to do what he is known for rather than be a amiable nice guy, unlike civilian RTV show where there is a prize for winning, here the prize is raising your profile, you don't need to last to the end of the show to do this. I also don't think a ITV audience will like him.

So I haven't watched im a celeb properly I yeaaars but I'm invested now after having a nice bet on toff pre show at 12s.
Wondering what the more seasoned I'm a celeb gambler amongst you thinks of Amir Khan. I think he's a great outside chance right now. He's seemingly going to get a lot of airtime with the trials, but also I think he is quite real and relatively laid back and I think he will surprise some people. Given the otherwise boring field I think he has potential. My biggest concern is though that he doesn't seem to have any idea what to expect and he may end up walking, particularly if he has to keep doing the trials.
I think Dennis Wise could benefit a lot from Decs running short gag but don't think he will be popular with the im a celeb audience.
Think toff is the clear early favourite, think she will have a lot of airtime and has the potential to just run away with it, but slightly concerned she will become very annoying.
Jack Maynard seems like the sort of person who would win but just think he's not famous enough and maybe a little boring.
Shappi I think is the one I personally would vote for, she seems nice and has the odd funny comment, but I don't think she'll galvanise people enough to vote for her. Think the app voting system is important as it surely favours people with a younger audience.
Stanley Johnson I'm also laying til the cows come home, can't see it at all, particularly with him being ruled out of a lot on medical grounds. Think he will be absent at best and aggravate people at worst.
Jennie is way too boring I think, jamie lomas seems alright but can't see him being a vote winner.
The other one I think could do alright is Vanessa white, but again too boring maybe. Will need more airtime. Potentially could come into her own when a few have been eliminated and she has less camera competition.

amir knowing nothing about the show wont go down with the audience imo, shows no respect and he's just there for the cheque, which was proved by being a complete wuss in the 1st trial.
toff already becoming whinny, b1tchy and superior imo, wont take much more of that for her too completely lose the northern vote
i think wise is cantering along tbf and is a perfect fit of previous winners
pretty much agree with everything else

For someone who doesn`t play IAC much, I`d say you`ve done a pretty good and accurate summary. One I might disagree with is James; apparently he`s the MEM totty, so if he`s not a jerk, he`ll be getting votes. You sound clued-up enough but, just in case, let me remind people that we will have at least one AO, so for backers, they`ll be coming in as instant reds.

The vetting on this show is terribly lazy. I mean twitter feeds aren't exactly hidden away are they? Surely if they make an example of Jack then they will need to do the same with Rebekah Vardy and Amir Khan for their derogatory comments against homosexuals.

PC boll0x, innit. `Free Speech` is the bigger picture here and, despite the leftward swing of Western political systems for the last 50 years, I still believe we can all think what we like, about anyone or anything. And, what`s more, we all have the right to express any views we care to. Thankfully, The Great Don is making huge strides towards reverting things to their natural order, and he`s still only one year into his eight-year mission to free the world of such accursedness as `all things PC`.
Particularly fine sentiments, with which I`m sure the whole forum will agree...

Is it just me who think Jennie mcalpine is way too short? All she's done is cry about missing her family. Can see her maybe getting to the last 6/7 but don't see her as potential winner. In general my feeling is that the three favourites at the moment are very short and the field is very long. Toff still the only real stand out for me but even her odds feel a bit short. Maybe wishful thinking but I think one of the field may step up and have a big second and third week. I think the thing with I'm a celeb is that as they start to eliminate people and the quieter ones get more airtime they can come into their own a little.

Libertine; gotta agree with you re. Fizz and Jamie, both max reds, but I fear the market is telling us Jamie nicked the PM role, so will probably shorten further over the next couple of days.
army, you do talk some boll0x sometimes! To compare her to Bullard is so outrageous, it`s a joke, surely? She`s the most perfectly divine creature to ever do IAC, and quite possibly to have done ANY RTV series; Bullard`s quite probably the WORST.

Two digs, on two different threads, army? Normally, I`d be inclined to attempt a defence of my honour, but it`s a lazy Sunday afternoon and I`m more stoned/relaxed than usual, so feel free to make it a full-on `roast` if you like!

it would be to easy to fire away at such a docile being, you know im right about the little posh tart and you will be laying her hard when she reaches certain levels. thats a bigger certainty than you currently rolling a fat one

Turned things around big time since my last post. Bit the bullet on toff and went on big on her and its paid off.
My take now is that Vanessa, Dennis and Rebekah are on spent time, must be on less than 5% of the votes between them. All should be Vanessa's odds.
Iain may last a bit longer as he has some personality. He's a bit odd though and I think he will turn most people off. Very much a no hoper though IMO. Should be longer odds than he is.
Jennie is the most boring person in the world. Think she will outlast the ones I've mentioned already due to being "nice" and probably will have a following from corrie. Can't understand her odds being so short. I've looked around for some polls, the few I've found don't have many votes which make them not particularly useful but Jennie is middle of the pack in most of them, that despite them running since start of show when she had an initial popularity running into it and after day 1. If she makes top 3 I'll be shocked. Should be 40s easy. Unless I'm missing something? I've been wrong before.
Next to go I would think would be between Stanley and Jamie. Stanley has a bit of a novelty factor but he's not really done much to win votes in my opinion, think his odds are about right, perhaps should be a little shorter. Jamie isn't quite Jennie, he's likeable but he's boring. To his credit he's done some tasks but I don't think he's done enough to merit winning. I'd have him around 20s. He has an outside chance but I'd be shocked if he actually won.
Amir for me is nailed on top 2. Maybe bias because he's my favourite and I'm also winning the most on him, but he's fun, he's funny, he isn't taking it too seriously. He is also probably the biggest name in today's market on the show. I'm just not sure whether people will turn out en mass to vote for him to beat toff, but certainly has the best chance of toppling her. I'd have him shorter than he is.
Toff may have won this already, she's likeable, she appeals to the young vote, she's had a lot of air time, she has done lots of challenges and done well in them. The clear favourite, would be a huge shock if she didn't win now, should be 1.25 IMO.
All in all I think it's a 2 horse race, with one of the horses with a broken leg.
