And to think there was talk of odds-on! Pre-show, I would have pondered backing im at these prices, but I found his entry to be faux and irritating. A month of that will not work but, without it, what is he?

Having read through his twitter I think he genuinely is a nice guy. If he was faux nice he wouldn't voice opinions but he is very opinionated. One of those larger than life characters.

Someone used the word `bonhomie` earlier, and I didn`t want to nick the word, but that`s what I really meant; faux bonhomie.  Can`t last a month, it`s annoying already.

How old is Biggins? About 70? He`s had fifty-odd years of being a good old pro, fifty years of doing the laugh and camping it up a bit. And it`s served him very well.  The problem is, though, that having served him so well over the years, he`ll think that`s what he has to be all the time, that`s what te GBP have loved about him for ever. Fine, in 30-minut panel shows and sit-coms, but liable to be hugely over-exposed in this.

GB2; could we have some clarification, please? Is this a train? Is it a reverse train? If it is, we have 10 trains, within the first day. Surely a record? If it`s not, then we have two reverse trains, both for the same runner, which is definitely a record.

When you think 1.42 is likely then 5s+ had to be great value if only for trading purposes. I have a decent green him but not what it should have been. Three weeks to go so things can change...or we could have the predicted "canter" as per Rylan.

Glass half full, GB2? I`m seeing it as` they`ve only done THREE FULL DAYS!` He was always going to be the default fav and, while his price might have gone a bit high, I think it`s plenty low enough right now.

His opening 4.5 or so seemed about right, and the realisation that he`s irritating justified the ensuing drift. Quite frankly, not really seeing why he`s halved in price so quickly. OK, others are self-imploding but, again, it`s so early still that none of it is so far fatal. He, himself, has done nothing to justify the plunge, and I`m currently trying to be really clever with my timing of when to turn him from max red to beyond that.

Nonsense Tim, Biggins isn't irritating, and showing that bit of assertiveness that we've seen today was good imo. More to him than bonhomie. As long as he's on the right side of the argument, which most people will think in this case as it's against Bear.

In price terms, however, 2.5 matched after 3 days is unusual.

Wondering if my one view of that vt had left the wrong impression, just watched it again.
Seven HMs are named, eight are innocent. When Lewis says, to the group, `you`ve gotta stop talking about noms`, Biggins jumps in with `but you were ALL doing it`. Being told he was, factually, in the wrong, he then singled out one, saying `well, you did it`. Classic deflection tactics, used by all miscreants to cover their tracks, not to have their lying ways exposed. He`s a wrong`un.

And, if that faux laugh isn`t irritating you yet, it will.
