As i keep saying about Dee, if the prods have a fav (not sure if its true or not) im sure she would be it, going to create the most media headlines if she wins, loads of shows lined up for her. It would be naive to right off Dee now, most on here were saying Helen no chance 2 weeks from the final, i think i used the same argument to say why i thought Helen still had a massive chance

Elise. CBB tends to get higher viewer figures and probably more voters. Helen always had a chance as the only story left in the final week was Ashleigh v Helen. This CBB final is going to be about 2 days with 7 house mates. It's very different.

You got very lucky with Helen, Elsie. Even the producers underestimated the effect their manipulation would have. Don't expect that to happen too often, imo.

You got lucky because the producers overplayed their hand to get Helen to the final showdown with Ashleigh and they turned her into the underdog and a sympathy figure with the edits. I don't think they actually wanted her to win.

My ego needs stroking, so indulge me when I remind you all that I was first on Helen, at up to 120. Elise joined in later, at 33/1. You may remember that I was Ashleigh`s main cheerleader, all series. I also suggested Audley was value, backing him at 50, two nights ago and to much ridicule, hours before army jumps on and gets all the credit!

Sorry for being self-indulgent, but when we get things wrong we get slagged off, fair enough. When we get things right, though...
BB3: I had Helen obscenely green a day or two before the final, and bailed a large chunk, but still my biggest ever RTV winner. Intended to bail completely during the final, but my internet and tv both went down, and I pretty much missed the whole thing. All of which was posted on here, for the record.
Cider, yes I do have evidence! Here`s some of it:

...And, last but not least, Helen! As things stand, she`s in the final, and it`s been easy to trade a decent green from her price volatility. OK, probably not our winner, but I expect that price volatility to continue. No harm having a decent green on the only known finalist especially as, after Geordie Shore, anything`s possible.
timbuctooth 23 Jun 14 23:07 There`s the beginning of the Helen redemption story. 8? weeks left. Loads of time for her. A very cheap large-green finalist.
timbuctooth 23 Jun 14 23:19 All true, boys, but IF she could go down the redemption route, (and we might have seen the first signs of self-awareness and vulnerability tonight), she would be 1.8 on final night. Backed her at up to 95, I can see her price yoyoing all series long so, hopefully, plenty more tradable stuff from her.

...Having said that, as things stand, Helen`s in the final. Showed the first bit of emotion in Chris`s vt, along with a couple of recent indications if self-awareness, even vaguely remorseful! Continue improving, helped by the restraint of already being on a warning, the imminent departure of her partner-in-crime which will force her into being more sociable, and the first weeks` misbehaviour can easily be forgotten. Loads of time left for a possible journey to culthood, and cue another price crash. Unlikely, but what do you expect from a 100/1 finalist?
timbuctooth 19 Jul 14 22:39 I`ve had Ash,(and Helen) as my only other greens for weeks, so that forecast would be marvellous
timbuctooth 20 Jul 14 17:37 I`m not so sure, GB2. This year hasn`t been `BB`, it`s been `The Helen Show`. Easy enough for such a cult figure getting 20%, possibly enough to win.
timbuctooth 20 Jul 14 18:00 Is the hatred not subsiding, though? Little gestures like reaching over to hold Steven`s hand as the `Two Second Steven` chants were ringing, and stroking Ash`s hair so affectionately really are softening her image. If she got anywhere near a H2H with, say Chris, she only needs 51% of her fellow-chavs to prefer her over the lying snitching poshboy. And the chav crowd will be going mental for her, which always helps. So Fools` Gold? Probably, but she`s been very cheap Fools` Gold.
timbuctooth 20 Jul 14 18:09 Good point, Elise. After all, they did mess with Jale`s permanom, but Helen`s immunity is sacrosanct. Think I`ll top up.
timbuctooth 20 Jul 14 21:40 Helen definitely heading for redemption
timbuctooth 25 Jul 14 23:43 I`ll put it another way, Henry. I could go
Ashleigh +48 points Ash +40 Helen +65 A/O +28

Glad you got that bit about me convincing you to top up

Thanks, again, BB3. Plenty of bad calls along the way, as well, of course. but this one`s beginning to shape up even better than Helen, financially. How`s your book?

I don't think Dee will get nominated. Edele seems to be getting on with everyone too. My top greens are safe if up, atm. I am to be green on the finalists, and red on anyone evicted.

Elise: If you want another Helen type winner, learn the lessons from BB. WAIT until I tell you to back someone, THEN pile in. Don`t be going off on your own backing random no-hopers at ridiculously short prices, you`ll only end up in deep reds.
Notwithstanding all of my preciousness tonight, we are ALL going to have to salute you if Dee does win. It`ll be unbearable on here!

I took the p1ss out of your Helen ramping, what goes around come around
Tough to vision a scenario that Dee wins in. Her false market price gave a false impression of her chances. Now that she has her feet under the table and feels secure, she's only going to get worse.

Me? I had the same, well-declared 4 greens throughout 95% of BB. I`ve not really been ramping anyone this CBB, but have pointed out a couple of value plays. Quite frankly, I have no confidence in my ability to see the winner, yet.
